I joined swagbucks a couple days ago after someone linked me to it on a community, and I already have 11 swag bucks. You can pick out neat free things for your swag bucks, like gift cards, books, electronics, music and band stuff, Star Wars collectibles, video games, etc. All you have to do is search like you normally would. It would also make me a very happy Mel if you just joined with my referral link and searched like a few times so I could have more swag bucks to get what I want even if you don't really want the free stuff for searching for yourself?

My weight has been bothering me a lot. I've gained so much weight since they've put me on all these anti-psychotic meds trying to get rid of my hallucinations.

I currently weigh 286lbs, which makes me very sick inside. I've never weighed this much before. No one should ever weigh this much unless they are scarily muscular. I don't want to die by the time I'm 40. I also miss wearing cute clothes. I almost cried in Kohl's the other day when I saw the only clothes I can wear.

I'm going to set definite date goals instead of just saying "I'm going to lose weight." I tend to make more bad eating choices when I don't have a deadline.

I want to weigh 250lbs by August 1, 2008.

I want to weigh 225lbs by January 1, 2009.

I want to weigh 200lbs by May 1, 2009.

I want to weigh 175lbs by September 1, 2009.

After that, I'll see. I was perfectly happy at a size 12 before when I weighed 182lbs, but I may decide from there to lose more weight.

I've decided to keep a list of movies I've watched this year and edit it as I watch more movies. I'm including a 1-4 star rating so I know what to watch again later on.

I was wondering if any of you guys could recommend a good web host that's either free or relatively inexpensive that supports FTP and allows ads (ie Google Adsense) without having invasive ads from the host. I don't need a ton of space or bandwidth. I'd really like to have the website's name .com, though, and the FTP and ad support. I'm having trouble finding that combination in a free host. :\

When I was 5 years old in the fall of my kindergarten year, I found a tiny turtle beside a puddle walking toward the road. I didn't want it to die so I took it back to the pond behind my parents' house and set it free.

Today, I found this by the sun room where my bunnies are living for the moment.

And that's not even the biggest one! There's a much larger one that lays her eggs later in the summer every year.

Here's a picture of the kind of glasses I have:


As you can see, they're connected by a small curved piece of wire and nothing else. Well, there was a little glue plug on each side that holds them on there, and mine broke off on one side.

I've tried to fix it in various ways already. Tape won't work. Glue would probably screw up the lens in addition to obstructing my vision. I tried to just push it back in the small set of holes, but it just fell back out when I moved my head at all. I tried using a string, too.

I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas about a temporary way to hold them together that wouldn't involve ruining the lenses or obstructing my vision.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions because I can barely see at all without glasses and I won't be able to get to an optical until Monday night or Tuesday morning at the earliest.


Edited to add: I tried some disgusting yellow poster putty. It obstructs my vision a bit, but isn't hurting the lenses. I'd really like a better suggestion, though.

I got an online DVD rental free trial that lasts a month. Last night, I found $50 I forgot that I had so I figure I can do this for a couple months and it's like losing no money. If it's any good, I'll continue with this one. If not, I'll try another free trial with a different company.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to add to my rental list...

I realized after listening to a new song I found, "Water Verve" by Mark Van Dale, that my playlist could use some new music.
